In these last days of this year, take a moment to consider your successes and achievements from this year. We work hard, but rarely do we take a moment to note and celebrate our successes.
I just completed this exercise with my MasterMind Group (described as Inner Circles in Who’s Got Your Back ), and was thrilled with the successes we achieved this year.
What did You Achieve this Year?
Take a moment to capture your key Wins! Consider, have you:
- Led or contributed to key projects or initiatives?
- Turned around underperforming operations?
- Streamlined operations?
- Reduced costs?
- Increased productivity?
- Improved bottom and top line profitability?
- Generated savings?
- Identified new market opportunities?
Congratulations! You worked hard this year. I hope you are raising your glass to celebrate your many successes.
Also, think about your personal goals for health, family, relationships, finances, and personal growth. What are your successes this year?
As we know that career success often comes at the expense of our personal goals, consider: Is there a balance between your career and personal life? If not, what roadblocks or obstacles took you off-course?
As you reflect, start thinking about what you want more, or less of, in this next year. Brigitte Cobb, author of Make It Fly: The Step by Step Guide to Make ANY Idea, Project or Goal Take Off presents a key question: “Do you have a lifelong ambition you’ve been neglecting? Why?” Is this the year to make it fly?
Wishing you much career success, and a wonderful holiday season!
